Come on Man! Everyone knows that is his chase vehicle with spare parts including including an IMSB, a radiator water tank, tank cap(04 of course), spark plugs, coils, maf sensors, several cases of DT40 oil, spare tires and rims, battery, antifreeze, all cleaning and waxing supplies, water pump, low temp thermostat, that little water thingy that always breaks behind the belt, belt, oil fill tube, frunk and engine hood struts, spare break( ) pads and rotors, door/window microswitches and of course several ignition switches(only the electrical part) and all tools to support anticipated repairs.

For GOD's sake man it was 700ish miles!
Never gonna make you cry...

Yesterday I _finally_ got around to pulling off

my factory catalytic converters and transplanting the O2 sensors into the sport cats I bought from a guy on Rennlist many months ago. Tonight, the sport cats go on the car and I get to take it out for a test drive...

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

Tech inspection that found no issues!

Has to be the first time ever I've taken a Porsche in to the shop and not walked away at least $1k poorer!

Steps for replacing the Coolant Reservoir Tank.

1. Remove Airbox
2. Remove Secondary Air Pump
3. Empty contents of Coolant tank
4. Disconnect coolant tank hoses
5. Disconnect fuel lines
6. Remove every visible bolt, screw, clamp, hose, cable, chain, pulley and belt.
7. Randomly tilt and twist the old tank for about an hour until it comes free, making sure to break the coolant level sensor - but not in a visible way.
8. Transfer the drainage tube and imperceptibly broken level sensor to the new tank.
9. Insert new tank with a similar random tilting/twisting motion
10. Reconnect everything that you disconnected previously, keeping extra parts to a minimum.
11. Fill up the tank with new Porsche coolant ($750/ounce) and put on the new cap.
12. Replace the secondary air intake and the air box, making sure not to reconnect the MAF.
13. Start the car and shit a brick because the dashboard looks like you just hit the jackpot in Atlantic City.
14. Reconnect the MAF and notice that the coolant level light is flashing even though you have plenty of coolant.
15. Buy a new coolant level sensor.
16. Repeat all of the above steps but instead of breaking the coolant sensor, this time break the oil filler tube.

And that's all there is to it. Simple.

Edit: Make sure to lose your brand new expensive eyeglasses and at least one wrench or socket during the process.

Ha! Ha! I have a receipt from my PO listing a replacement coolant tank, but I feel for you. I'm curious where the sunglasses went. They probably don't belong in the coolant.

And let's be clear about what we're talking about here. Its a plastic tank. To the uninitiated, it is indistinguishable from a milk jug. I could have pulled my overflow tank out of my 928 by accident.
