Re: Craigslist, ebay, Amazon and other online finds
OK, I'm going to post a couple of non-996 cars here. Both of them are 955 (9PA to you Cuda) S models (V-8 non-turbo). I've got two 2006 Cayenne S models, and I've really grown to like them. They are easy to work on, reliable, drive great and there are lots of DIYs and parts out there to maintain them yourself. And they are dirt freakin' cheap. The S model is the sweet spot, IMHO, because the V6 is woefully underpowered and the Turbo is overly complicated and you'll never use the extra power above the 340 hp the S model gives you.
Here's the first one. Yeah, I know it's gold, but it has a black interior with the really pretty wood trim. And it's loaded (although no air suspension). I've never seen the car in my neighborhood, but the Craiglist ad shows it as being within a few blocks of my house. So, easy for me to go take a look at for anyone. It is a 2006 model with very high miles (187k), but first gen P!gs are proving that they can go well over 200k miles and still do great. Our blue P!g has 160k+ miles on it and it drives/runs/looks great. Plus, they're asking only $6,500. Get that thing for $6,000 or $5,500 and it is a smoking deal. Heck, that's the same price as a 996 roller.

Re: Craigslist, ebay, Amazon and other online finds
This one's a 2004 Cayenne S, so not generally the best year. However, by now, all of the bugs of the first-year Cayennes will have been fixed. The nice thing about this one is that it is a one-owner car. It is also located very close to me, so happy to check it out. Not nearly as cheap as the gold one shown above at $8,300, but it does have a lot less miles at 124k miles. Also, not as well optioned as the one above. But, if buying from the original owner is important to you, you won't find a lot of them out there. Oh, and it's not gold.

I'm just mad that none of the Porsche purists called out "fried eggs" on these too! Why are we 996 owners always singled out?

Do either one have documentation that the IMSBs have been done and B3 has a point on the fried eggs...hideous!kcattorney wrote: ↑Tue Jun 26, 2018 9:10 am OK, I'm going to post a couple of non-996 cars here. Well, if nothing else, it's a great way to get all of the luxury of a 997 interior for the price of, well, a 997 interior.

What y'all think about Lamboghini going down the rich-fine-heeled-soccermom-performance-suv road?
Behold, the URUS!!!
I guess this means Ferrari is next in line?

That Lambo URUS will be selling for around 10 large in about ten years or so, if the Cayenne is any indication.
