KCA: Thanks I been meaning to tell him about that for some time. Noticed on some of his other vids, as well. Maybe it's a speed limiter?

Any of you mid-atlantic types who are thinking about trying a DE, Chin has opened up some additional novice spots for their event at Summit Point. 2.5+ hours of track time per day, two day event. $524 all in price (I think). That's just over $100/hour track time. That's so unbelievably cheap. Many groups charge close to $300 for 80 minutes of track time, $225/hour.

It's amazing how big a difference weather/track conditions make. This is my new personal best but I didn't do much better; it was cooler and the car made more power as a result.

Great three days at Summit Point this past weekend.

So were you waving your fist at the end because the Corvette had pissed you off or was that a celebration fist pump? I'm trying to understand these track hand signals just in case I do this. When I raced dirt waving of the fist was not a positive to the guy behind you although the one finger salute was more common. ;)

So the "new" mill seems to be performing well! That does look like fun.

Celebration.

That Corvette, BTW, is a 2019 ZR1, one of the first and perhaps few actually seeing track time. Featured here: http://www.corvetteblogger.com/2018/08/ ... the-track/

I know you were just celebrating!

$138k for the ZR1! He could have had a "real" race car for that amount and nice moniker "Poor-sha". However, the ZR1 did sound nice.

I had that figured out already. Anybody who would drop that much green then go out and beat the piss out of it on a track usually does so only because they can or their crazy! Funny I bet many of those cars are purchased and put in a climate controlled room for the future which I find sad. Your car looks to be running well.
