Garage walls are ~95% complete. Just a few touch ups here and there. My 84" epiq should be in soon, then I can position the danmar lift and install the anchors. Also have a few other misc things to clean up like the lighting wires and stuff.

Had a loose 02 sensor and cockeyed tailpipes...Fun getting to them!
AC LCD Screen took a crap and C3 popped for some reason.

Ahhh, the joys of owning a decade old German vehicle. We truly are a bunch of masochists

Took it out for a drive to get some fresh air and enjoy the nice weather. As I was motoring along, I noticed that the odometer was closing in on 80K so I took the long way home. The odometer rolled past 80K and I continued home without incident. I truly enjoy this car.

Rolled her past 180k without incident, installed the short shifter I bought from Sweet Victory and enjoyed the drive even more as I put another 100 on her cruising around in the middle of the night hooning on empty roads.

This weekend I finished wiring up the interior wiring, cleaned and painted (Rustoleum peelable "Carbon Graphite Metallic", I think) two wheels on the 996. I also cleaned and painted (PlastiDip) the targa top on the Corvette, which can't take any more UV damage. Looks pretty good, but it needs another can of "Dip" and another coat of "Glossifier"...or I might peel it off and use the Rustoleum stuff - of the two products, I prefer it over Plastidip - it behaves much more like spray paint than the "dip," which is more like that spray rubber shit you see on infomercials...
Also, 90K. Woot!

I used 3M auto masking tape to tape up the tire. I also taped over the crest on the center caps and used a box cutter blade to cut away the excess before spraying the wheel.
I wasn't sure about the wheel color; I need to go back and do the passenger side (the photo is flipped horizontally - it's the driver side, even though it appears to be the RH side).

Looks good. Been thinking of doing the same at some point but my wheels came with some rash and I don't want to highlight it any more. Maybe I can Dremel them smoother where needed first.
