I've known quite a few S2000 owners over the years and after they sold them claim it was one of the best sports cars they've ever driven. It's a sharp design, but still a little too small for my taste. Do these have the same Boxster hair-dresser stigma attached them too? :)

Nope, the S2000 got the "ricer fanboi" label, not the "hairdresser's car" label.

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.

Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

If I was a Honda fan, I'd probably be all over that. The S2000 remains the only Honda I've ever considered buying...
Have you ever driven an NSX or an Integra Type R? I will tell you the most entertaining drive I've had in a front drive car was behind the wheel of a 98' Integra Type-R. If Honda injected some of that fun into the 305hp Civic Type-R I think it'd be worth the money..... Now styling wise I'm not exactly crazy about it, but I haven't cared for the civic's styling in a while.......

Update...the kid, who has first right of purchase, came over last night and he is now more comfortable with the styling and will probably buy it. Dammit! However, I'm crossing fingers that because of his weight-lifter build he won't be comfortable in it. Wife said I should get on the list at the dealer...she is so nice! Well, maybe it's the drugs she is legally taking for her surgery recovery.

Ok so DT thinks it's butt fugly and I admit that the styling is "aggressive" but...that sumbitch is Q-U-I-C-K! The kid's showed up on the truck today and he called me to go for a test drive before he bought it. And yes he bought it...Dammit! Besides being quick it is a nice car. Comfy seats, but supportive. Visibility is good not great but good. Not hard to get into and out of which is important for old guys. Did I mention it is QUICK?! There is no noticeable turbro lag. The power is predictable and wide throughout the majority of the rpm range. Never had a four cylinder car throw me back in the seat before. Nice exhaust note under power. Keep in mind this was in a new car with less than 25 miles on it so no full throttle runs and it still impressed. I added my name to the waiting list and we'll see how long it takes.

BTW DT it is better looking in person than in pics.

Congrats on place in line. Ironically I bought my 996 from a Honda dealer, previous owner traded it in for a civic hybrid.
