If I could meet the previous owner of my car I'd punch em in the face for pointlessly rigging aftermarket security systems and cheezy assed L.E.D. tail lamps into mine.....course he did save me a few bucks by doing it sooooooooo.....

You should read my original "renovation" thread and all the glued parts that I had to replace. I did have thoughts of beating the previous owner with a rubber hose. It has cost me a lot of money undoing what the PO rigged. I mean how in the world glues parts together on a Porsche? Sick, lazy people.

Yeah, who the f*ck uses masking tape? That application clearly calls for duct tape.

In the business, we call those MaxAttacks. Usually happens after some poor sucker has his cracked block or d-chunk misdiagnosed as a blown head gasket or oil cooler. They patch it up just good enoug*

Poor Opie, I wonder if he ever got his car fixed...FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Sun Nov 18, 2018 12:41 pm I've been on both sides of this, and it has always turned out well. Just car guys helping one another out by sharing info on a particular car.
I do recall one incident involving a 996 where it didn't. Spectacularly didn't. Which is ultimately how we all ended up here.
