Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
We had all but one of our autocrosses this year cancelled due to rain. At least I made that one. Made it out to Heartland Park during our club race in April to watch the big boys run, and managed to at least get 8 parade laps in.
Yes, I realize that I'm lame.

Be in Flagstaff for weekend, be snowboarding.
Be drive home last night. Be get great mileage in Acura, 27 mpg for tank.
Be start driving to work today, be feel steering really hard. Be have no power steering at all.
Be get to work, open hood. No power steering fluid at all. Pour a quart in. Wtf, not happy.
Microwaving lunch at Fort Verde. Could be the culprit.

It is actually great way to heat up food if you've never done it. 30-60 minutes and it is warm.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Question, is there any additional damage I can do to the rack if I take off the PS pump belt and drive the car?
Drove out from garage today, all fluid was gone within a mile. All leaking from the pump. Looks like internal seals are gone.

Doesn't the same belt spin the alternator as well?

No, PS pump has its own belt. That's why I figured I can just take it off and run the car as manual steering until new pump arrives.

Then you should be good. Just when you put a new pump in, flush the rack as well.
