Hoorah for Pee Pee Eye. Special doggie treats in the near future.
Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Carvana just sent me an email telling me my 996 is worth $8K.
I'll keep it, thanks.

Aw I'm glad PeePee isn't with PeeWee. (Too soon?)
Seems like Carvana suddenly realized paying 20% over market value for used cars is not a sustainable business model and joined the "low-ball Boyz" down the auto mall.

Wow! I thought those ridiculously high used car prices were finally a thing of the past.

Could be worse - in Philadelphia, it's worth 50 bucks.

Well, a tank of gas and a Rochefoucauld.

FWIW, there's a post on the Rennlist 997 group on bore scoring that's turned into a discussion of whether the Boxster is a woman's car. There are a bunch of uptight people there!!!! I remember when a group of you joined together to ridicule a jerk into oblivion years ago. Just thought I'd mention it ...

Ah...those were the good old days before everything/everyone was sent to the cornfield for undetermined undefined transgressions.Wayne997.2 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2023 8:00 pm FWIW, there's a post on the Rennlist 997 group on bore scoring that's turned into a discussion of whether the Boxster is a woman's car. Heh. I used to wear a silk scarf when I drove my Boxster.
On a serious note, an AX instructor was dumbfounded after my absolutely miserable first "fast" lap in my '03 986. He made some remark about how PSM must have saved me - but my 986 only had ABS, no other driver aids. It was a hell of a car. He was blown away.
I think Cuda might have some opinions about the Boxster as well...
My only regret about buying my 996 is that I let the sales guy talk me into trading my 986. That Boxster was sublime.
Even for a chick car.
