Throttle body issues so I pulled it, cleaned it, e gas reset. Problem solved. Time for a new TB. Fun fact boxsters of same year use same TB.

Hosed mine off and took it to breakfast. Here's a "before" shot, but after didn't look much better. Went to Cars and Coffee at the auto museum after PCA breakfast. Huge turnout there.

Not today, but the night before last. Hit "996" on the odometer again, and looking forward to many more instances of the same.
It really is an easy car to love.

You shot the image at 92 mph? hahaha That may explain the motion blur!Flat6BlahBlah wrote: ↑Tue Apr 10, 2018 2:43 am Not today, but the night before last. Hit "996" on the odometer again, and looking forward to many more instances of the same.

Oh, the shame... a dirty Porsche at a cars and coffee event?? Be careful KC, the fact that you're not OCD about the car may give off the wrong impression. Gotta maintain the Porsche snooty stereotype don't ya know!kcattorney wrote: ↑Sat Feb 03, 2018 12:21 pm Hosed mine off and took it to breakfast. Re: What did you do to your 996TT Today?
Cruise control was in the 'on' position on the stalk, but not activated. My foot was busy tickling the fun pedal, hence the .8 bar boost indicated beneath the odometer. When our cars hit "996" it's our duty to run them up to fun velocity, which is what I did briefly after I set the phone back down
