Much drama over there. Reminds me of another fraudulent 996 seller over on Rennlist (dammit).

On a different topic, I noticed il pirata jumping in on that thread with his moderator cape on to save the day by deleting a political reference. I had hoped he had gotten fired along with the other jackass RL mods during IB’s housecleaning a few weeks ago. He and one other survived that needed to go.

A shitty situation all round. Mr. Deezy looks to be a serial flipper (and therefore kind of cheesy) who misrepresented the car but I don't think the misrepresenation had anything to do with it blowing up. He owes the buyer some money for the IMS Solution thing I think.

I missed it but probably all for the better. He seems like a toxic individual which is why all of this beef follows him.

Paid a quick visit to RL to see what everyone was talking about. I must say, and nothing against anyone there, it seemed so filled with darkness and gloom over the 996 engine that I had to leave. Nothing has changed since I was last there years ago. The 996.1s have been on the road for 20 years or so. If it has been well cared for, there is no reason to fear it is about to explode. It doesn't make sense to me to keep worrying about them. It does make sense to enjoy them.
