We've got the 2017 Hybrid. The four is anemic at best and I wonder what the tranny is doing a lot of the time. It is four wheel drive, and we live at the top of a pretty big hill so in the snow it can be pretty useful. My biggest complaint is the thing never stops beeping. In the winter months, if the outside temp is below freezing, there's a warning (with a beep) that the road may be icy. What's the purpose of this warning? I have traveled outside to get to the car, so surely I am aware its cold. If the car is in the garage, it doesn't know how cold outside it is.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 9:29 amOur Rav4 is a 2009 with +100k miles, but I still like it. It is a Limited with the V6. It is actually pretty quick and comfy for a small SUV. I would not have a new one. Don't like the design and the four cylinder.OceanBlue2000 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 8:52 am Does this one come with Birkenstocks, or Tevas?
Is there a car in your garage without a flat engine?
We looked at these too, but we ended up buying the Rav4 off our lease. The devil you know, although I hate that car.

Now I see why you need so many cars. At least half are clearly broken!
Re: My new Subie
Her e90 does that shit except that it is really stupid about it. It will be 15 degrees out, it's been parked outside (so no garage to have kept it warm), then 10 miles down the road it finally decides to ding at you that it's cold enough for iceOceanBlue2000 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 2:05 pmWe've got the 2017 Hybrid. At least it's better than the e30's alert as it shows a snow flake on the dash. The e30 was just a single random ding that made you wonder if it was about to blow up or something.
