The VR6 is a good solid engine and I like it. It was just under performing in a "performance" SUV is all.
I agree completely. I drove a 2005 Touareg with the 3.2 and it was OK, though "performance" wasn't the feeling I came away with. "Barely adequate" is a better description. I can only imagine the VW Atlas with the 3.6 VR6 is similar.

The VR6 sure does sound nice, though.

In sorta winterizing news, the entire northeast is getting hit today. We are expected to receive 12 to 18 inches, which seems low to me since it started snowing last night and is supposed to continue until tomorrow. Just absolutely coming down right now.

So post all those poolside pics, you peeps in sunny climes, so I can be jealous.
