Very sorry to hear that. Our furry four-legged family members give us so much and, frankly, ask so little in return.

That sucks, man. Pee Pee Eye is shuffling toward the exit, and I'm gonna be an absolute mess when it happens.

I'm sorry.

I used Meguiar's wash and shine w/ ceramic on the pile last weekend...and I'm kind of impressed. It's now a 15-footer instead of a 20-footer.

The wheels look good. Did you have them painted? They look too shiny for Plasti-dip.

I got the 914 ready for a sunset photoshoot yesterday, only to have it start raining just as the photographer showed up at my house. So, glad I spent a couple of hours detailing it.

It goes into the shop tomorrow morning to get an oil leak fixed along with checking out a possible intermittent gas leak on the injector for cylinder 2. Hopefully both minor issues and it's back out quickly. But, I'm trying a new shop that owned by a young guy that just graduated from McPherson College's automotive program. I'm confident that he's talented, but you always worry about the general business acumen of someone just starting out. For example, is it going to sit around for a month waiting for parts or for him to "get around to it?"

If he does well on this job, the 928 needs a waterpump/timing belt change and a couple of other issues resolved, so hopefully it works out well. My normal Porsche mechanic is still my go-to guy, but he doesn't like 928s and prefers working on the newer water cooled cars rather than the old air cooled stuff.

That is one sweet looking 914! Are you going to AutoX it this summer?? It would be excellent at that task and look great while doing it.
