BTW, if anyone is in a generous mood, I’ll take this 930 that showed up this year via a new KCRPCA member transplant from SoCal.

Aw, shit. My home office is infested with the 90's again.
Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

$5 to the first person to figure out what song that is. Hint: It's a Q4 1987 synth-pop cover of a "classic."

I'll take a shot: the Pet Shop Boys' cover of "Always On My Mind", which is arguably the best synth-pop cover ever.
Proud owner of a Flat6-powered 2002 996 Cab, 2016 GT4, 2019 Ford F-150 "Country Cadillac", and 2005 Ford Focus (not so hot hatch) daily driver. And a Wright ZTO 52" to keep several acres of grass-like substance neat and tidy!

Would you like that $5 in cash, or should I inform the unfortunate Frunkenstein that you'll be taking it in...ahem...trade?

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Caliber finished the Jeep last Thursday; we picked it up Friday...and I have to admit that the workmanship doesn't suck. There are a couple of little things to get ironed out - some overspray on an engine surround plastic and one or two other tiny nits - but it's in better shape than it was before it got wrecked.
AAA estimated (and generously offered) $1,200; the final total was just over $7K.
I like the Jeep more than the Audi rental. The Audi was nice...in an "it looks like an expensive piano until you play it" kind of way. If there's black ice in the Starbucks drive-through, I'm sure everyone in the Q7 will be fine.

Just apply it towards my annual membership fees here at the Outpost
BTW, regarding the Jeep and Caliber Collision -- in the North Houston area, Caliber is the body shop approved by Porsche North Houston. I had them paint a new front bumper cover and repair/repaint a couple of pre-existing booboos, and as far as I can tell the only way you'll tell the work was done is with a paint meter. While I'm sure each Caliber is "independently owned and operated", as a franchise they seem to offer a pretty good product. Glad your experience vis-a-vis the jeep was good.

DANG! I was going to guess: In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida synth-pop(whatever that means) cover by Slick Willie and the Metro-Tones.
All 17 minutes and 5 seconds...
Never gonna make you cry...
