Finally got the Corrado running after nine and a half years, not bad for Easter Sunday
Jesus would have done it in 3 days. Just sayin'.

T-minus 5 hours until I'm the proud new owner of an X1/9 I didn't really want.
On a completely unrelated matter, can anyone recommend a good divorce attorney?

LOL, well there will be no competition from me. Funny thing is Sunday morning FB reminded me of two years ago on Easter Sunday I brought a blow up TT back from the dead....it was a lot less work than this thing.

I have one. Send me your wife's contact info and I'll get her in contact with them.

No help on the divorce, but that's a damn fun purchase. Rare, crazy 80s styling, mid-engine, legendary unreliability. Lots of fun to dig in there. Good luck with it!
Keep a good thought: maybe the wife will love it? It's a small, 'cute' car. My wife loved the 928 over the 996 because the headlights popped up. You could get her on its side!

Maybe I could get your phone number, and then you can tell her for me?
In all fairness, I can't believe it will sell for what I've bid. I think it is worth at least a couple of thousand more than that. It isn't really the cost of the car, it's the buying it without discussing it part that's going to get me into hot water. She'll get over it, and I might just flip it anyway and actually make a few hundred bucks off of it. We'll see. There are always the last minute snipers out there to take me off the hook - there are 114 people watching the auction.

Honey, I really wanted you to yearn for the reliability and overall dependability of the A8.
