So bumper, quarter panel, headlight, tires, side lamp, refinish the wheel, alignment, a bunch of fittings, blending on the hood and door, and any thing that shows up when panels are removed. Unknowns are the hood (looks ok, but there is some concern that may just be the bumper and panel being displaced). The upside is that it looks like the intercooler and rad on that side are just fine as well as the signal bar in the bumper. I expect the first quote from the insurance will be in the $1500 range, but it will end up in the 6-10 range when it is all said and done (the headlight alone is about $2500).

I expect some bickering with the Insurance as I will demand all 4 tires are replaced since it's AWD and I'll fight for the other headlight too (though I expect to not win) since it has 6 years of age on it at this point and I won't accept mismatched lights in a year or two.

Also going to get other door dings and what not fixed up while it's there.

Look up how much $100T Zimbabwe dollars is worth now 👍.

I still keep the $100T and $50T Zimbabwe dollars to fuck with people.

Doesn't look much better in the daylight. Could be worse though.

Much. All in all it's pretty minor.

It was probably overdue for a wash anyway.

I like the way you think.

Ah no worries, Gnat. The right man can buff it out! ha!

Seriously... ouch!

What in the world happened or did I miss the thread?

Beautiful car.... look at those weird shaped headlights. Kind of reminds of something, but I can't put my finger on it. hmmm... (scratches head)

Anyway, I would imagine this is gonna cost around $5,000 IMHO. 6-10 is high unless the body shop is gonna try to offer the insurance company a pass-on-the-Porsche-tax punch in the financial stomach.

Oh and request that the body shop gives you the headlight enclosure back. You can make a cool spot light out of it! yard art baby! hahahaha

For better or worse, I've got a guy that I've been using for 20 years now. Holy shit! Rough numbers off the top of my head I think he's gotten about $100k out of me (mostly my insurance) over that time! Fucker can buy me lunch next time!
What in the world happened or did I miss the thread?
Last 2 pages. Just a fender bender. Cars just crumple so easy these days

Chris does things right and doesn't cut corners. USAA hates that I send my cars to him, but it always comes out correct in the end. He just takes forever (I don't expect to see it before the end of Sept knowing him).

He has taught me a lot about the Insurance scammers^H^H^H^H^Hcompanies over the years. It's amazing the shit they will pull to save themselves a few bucks at your expense.

There was a time where 996 headlights (because they were one of the early HID cars) had their headlights stolen regularly. They were being turned into grow lights apparently...
