I love when they do the "Sneaked by". They got me the first time. Now I watch for them. The crowd reactions are great! I love it when they Halo.

BTW: Tom Cruise ain't no Blue Angel

I was visiting in Pensacola one year and got this exact view from my hotel room by surprise. Very cool!

Yesterday was a day for me to remember. A day of happyness, sadness and one of pride.
My son Chad left for the begininng of his ARMY career. He will arrive at Ft Benning later today. It will be his home for at least the next 34 weeks as he trains for Airborne Special Forces (18x MOS).

I'm sure going to miss that little fucker. I am proud as hell for what he has chosen to do with his life and proud of the man he has become.

You are a good Dad to support your son in his choice! You should be proud.

Thank you, for your support of our country by raising a son that wants to serve in the military. Definitely keep us updated with his progress as he moves up the ranks. Life does go by too quick, doesn't it? My daughter is a senior this year and it seems just like yesterday I was driving her home as a newborn.

Speaking of kids, my daughter works in the movie biz in Hollywood. A few minutes ago she texted me these pix from the set she is working on (and a completely unrelated gratuitous pic):

Walk up to the carts at the grocery store and a woman looks over at me and cuts in front of me and takes the first cart. Ok, whatever. Then she pulls it out as I'm obviously watching and sees there is a plastic fork in the cart, so she takes the next cart and puts the forking cart back in the stack.

So I follow her through the store until she isn't looking and put the fork in her cart while she was busy selecting a donut.

I kicked a second microfiber towel under the 996 today to soak up leaking coolant.
