I gave up 2 years ago trying to keep the calipers looking perfect. I guess living in the south has proven that lots of rain (yes, I drive it in the rain) mixed with dirt circulating at extremely high rpm is similar in effect to sand blasting with an added vortex punch.

The older I get the less I care about the paint chips and dings that I discover regularly and more about getting in the car and just .... driving!

The one thing I would have done different for my drive from Cali to NJ with this car was to put a bra on the front. This car is 20 years old and it's going to have some chips, but there are so many little ones now. I bought a touch up pen, but I just cannot get it to work right. Anytime I try it, it looks worse than just leaving the chip.

Try Dr. ColorChip. They have matching color for our cars. It's a little more difficult to apply(more steps) than a paint pen but results are good.
