What you do in the privacy of your bedroom is your business, but we really don't need to know about it...

bung
The characteristic steel ridges add an extra half-inch to the barrel, making the external diameter 23 inches. 55-gallon drums have a hole at the top, known as the bung, which allows the contents of the barrel to be extracted with a 55-gallon drum pump or another dispensing system.

Now for a funny albeit juvenile story. One of my college room mates got a summer job with the Pabst Brewing company in Peoria, IL. Job title...bung hole inspector. Yes he took a lot of flak for that.

This makes me even less inclined to buy lubrication products from you.

I never thought it would be so difficult to give away $63 worth of oil and I pay shipping too. Guess I'll just donate it to the state of Missouri and they can spread it on the dirt roads of the southern parts of the state.

So...what kind/brand of oil did you switch to? I'm interested in the oil if you are still in possession. Sounds like good oil for Tucson climate.

The guy that rebuilt my engine asked me to change oils and keep the brand silent at this time. I totally trust and respect him. The new oil is 5w40. I still have the Driven GP1 oil and you can read about it on LNE website to see if you think it would work with your car. You can even ask them their opinion on the website.

I just heard back from LNE. Their support team must not have anything to do. They recommend using their Driven DT40 oil, a full synthetic 5W-40 oil. That's what's in my car now, so I guess I shouldn't switch things up. Thanks for your quick response!
