Of course, as soon as you buy it, you'll find it half of that price somewhere else. That's my luck, at least.b3freak wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 5:36 am Removed the front bumper to clean the rads and once I got it off, it relieved a cracked passenger side air duct. It's busted beyond repair. I was going to buy one used, but most of the sellers on eBay want around $100 - $140 for the part. I was thinking I could get a boxster version, but the scoop is different than the 996 version and so I'm sticking with the right part - (996.575.322.03). Looked it up on Perimeter Porsche Parts and I can purchase it brand new for $126. Pays to shop around.
What did you do to/with your 996 today?

I drove to the grocery store, bought beer, came home. Admired car in garage before coming inside. Beer run was uneventful with no drama. Car ran perfect.

Added a 7lb 6oz ballast to the stable today. Through some weird properties I don't fully understand it will actually be heavier by the time it's installed for the first time.

You gonna name the new kid "gnat2"? Congrats! As the Soup Nazi said "No sleep for you!"
Never gonna make you cry...
Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Hey Schnelly, what would you pay for the naming rights? 996Outpost Dot Com has a certain ring of elegance to it...
And you severely under estimate what I can sleep through
Was figuring that would be a good chance for some alone time actuallykcattorney wrote: ↑Tue May 01, 2018 12:43 pm Congratulations gnat! Maybe I'll get to see the little bugger in June.

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Congrats Gnat.
as for the 996.. drove it home from work this morning, drove it to work this evening.. no drama, but last night I did order up a slightly used set of KONIs for her off Pelican classifieds
possibly selling the Bilsteins locally and maybe with the H&R Sports springs. Not sure what I'd rather have to match the KONI, but I want to be slightly lower.
Opinions?
