Walked by it, touched the fender tenderly and looked to make sure the battery maintainer lights were on!
Never gonna make you cry...

I drove over to the stadium, spied on the AXers for a while, and then came back home to poke at this stuff.
I have my shitty headers to install from the RL guy (I think his for-sale thread was something like "these suck and you'll hate them"...my kind of truth-in-advertising).

Understeer: You will hit the wall with the front end.
Oversteer: You will hit the wall with the rear end.
Horsepower: How hard you will hit the wall.
Torque: How far you will move the wall.
Gone hunting with Alec Baldwin and Dick Cheney. Back soon.

I did that too. Then ran back in the house because it is 4 out here right now and it feels like 30 or so in the garage.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Sat Jan 06, 2018 3:35 pm Walked by it, touched the fender tenderly and looked to make sure the battery maintainer lights were on!

Still ain't got a 996 in my garage, but even a steer can dream! Think about it.
Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?
Drove it after it's short winter's nap.
Really did not want to start after sitting 3 weeks in sub-freezing temps, but it did crank. 30 degree PS2s make for a smoooooooth ride for the first mile or so until they warm up.
Took a nice pic of it to post in the pic thread on the way home, started up and drove fine, won't crank after stopping for an errand Acting like a battery issue, but jumping just made a bunch of electric clicking
Had to leave it in the parking lot until I can call AAA later

Yeah. Probably under inflated to boot due to the cold and being terrible owner. Those were some mighty fine flat spots it had to work out32wildbilly wrote: ↑Wed Jan 10, 2018 11:01 am Cold PS2s after three weeks. Lucky they didn't knock some teeth out!
