I purchased and attempted to put in a “new” storage tray to replace the useless navigation cd tray, and have a wonderful place to keep my phone! But realized that I am, in fact, an imbecile and bought a lower tray instead of an upper. When I tried to move the climate control from the lower slot to the upper it said “heck no dude” and didn’t go in. Now I need to find out ebay’s Return policy...

Drove it home for the first time... well, home is currently my father-in-law's shop. It's hidden there until I can get it properly insured and registered. I have enough trouble with the online police these days, I don't need the *real life* popo on my back. :D Word to ya mama and grandma too... I'm about to throw down and ya know what just to do... wave ya hands in the air like you don't care, fly by the people as they start to look and stare... do yo dance, do yo dance, do yo dance quick! Everybody tell me what's the WORD ... WORD UP! :P

ok ok ok... I'll stop the 80's rapper flash back.

I was driving the 996 to work, and a dude in a pickup swooped me on a lane change...I had him pegged as a d-bag and was ready to move on, but the dude realized what happened and stopped in his lane to let me over.

Cool move, pickup dude.

I listened to Akon all the way to work - nice to have decent bass in the 996 again.

Personally, I think these guys are not always trying to be total jerks, but because of the height those truck, they can't see us loooow-riders. ;)

Akon, ummm really? Thought you were still stuck in the "bust a move" days. ha! :P

My Pandora is free of Young MC tunes, although I do still know the lyrics by heart...

She's dressed in yellow
she says, "Hello!"
Come sit next to me
you fine fellow...

You run over there without a second to lose...
And what comes next? Hey! Bust a move!

Brought the lift down to check the battery charger.
With bated breath, checked the weather.

Disgustedly put the lift back up.

I had a CEL that came and went indicating a vaccuum leak, and a smoke test revealed that little elbow below was leaking. Had to wait for shipping from Stugart. Also had a cracked header that came with the car and was leaking. Runs much quieter/smoother with the new BBE headers!

It’s been low to mid 70’s so I have been driving with the top down! Had to take a quick pic prior to top down.

I pulled my old seats, vacuumed, and started to install my new to me replacement seats late Tuesday afternoon in my cab. Unfortunately, I had to fly out of town the following morning for work and didn't get to finish. So this morning the remaining bolts go in, and I should be driving it to breakfast shortly. I'll still keep one sheepskin cover in the frunk for quick installation so the bitch can ride along without doing damage. New used seats make a huge difference! The old ones were sun cooked well done.
