I started a Google Group for us - I think that info is in the initial (first) post in this thread.

I checked your user profile - for some reason, your email is listed as MY gmail account, maybe because I created the account for you (?) - that was a long time ago.

Shoot me your email address via PM and I'll add you to the list.

I was wrong - the Google Group info was a few posts down. I added it to the top post so hopefully more folks see it.

The Fortress Compound is what I call the new place. Fully fenced and walled. Ain't no one getting in here. Love it.

Hi, I'm bummed to see you shut down. I am not a 996 guy so have not been very active here, but this site was one of my inspirations when I started Carpokes. Since carpokes is also on phpBB, I wonder if there is any way to merge your forum into carpokes, and/or if you'd want me to create a 996 Outpost section of carpokes so you don't lose your place to be. I'm up for whatever works to keep the band together and help keep the carpokes ball rolling. The big media companies have taken over most/all the bigger Porsche forums, and I think the world needs places like the 996outpost and Carpokes. Email me at admin@carpokes.com if there is any interest in doing something like this. And if nothing else, just know that carpokes has a very similar owner-operated approach and would welcome 996outpost refugees with open arms. :). Sorry to see you go....

^^^ Sounds like a good idea, if doable.

So...let's keep the lights on. I think the world's a better place with an Outpost.

It became easy to see negatives, but y'all have helped me see the positives. Thanks for that.

Now you're talking! Good for you. Every time one of the enthusiast-run forums closes down, it's a win for big-media forums and all they represent. Love live the little guy. :) And my offer stands if carpokes can ever be of help....

So, are you saying that this site will live long enough for us to learn where to properly place the PCA window sticker?
