996 Turbo Solid LCA Bushing Install

I ended up making my own puller tool to be able to pull bushings out on the car without requiring the removal of the control arm. Here is testing it on the bench. In light that it has not made it back when loaned out I will have to make another one or two in the near future that will be available for others on here.
Puller tool used on the car with impact and wrench to remove old bushing
Old bushing removed, I normally hit with a scotch pad to clean the bore up prior to putting the bushings in. Another note is to make sure to use plenty of grease on the puller bolt to prevent it from galling the threads and then needing to cut the bolt head off.
If you have access to a welder and a lathe/bridgeport, here is a drawing for those who want to make their own.
I made a couple sets of LCA bushings for later use in other 996/997 cars as I add others to the garage. Here is the Phenix Engineering LCA bushing installed into the control arm. I ended up making them out of 7075 heat treated Aluminum to ensure the strongest possible.
First ones test fitting prior to hard coat anodizing
Finished install with thrust arms attached
Any questions feel free to ask. Install takes about an hour all said and done with difficulty being a single IPA beer requirement.
