Brian: Don't let "them" fool you not an inside joke...maybe an urban myth...but inside joke...No!

Thanks KC. She shows her age a bit in the cosmetics, but the powerplant is still smooth and strong. First and foremost a driver's car and I'm just hopefully getting started.

I have a question for you knowledgeable PCA folk... if my car belonged to a PCA member and was in Fl and or TX how can I contact previous owners? Is there a VIN registry I can access? I really want to know the history on this car further than the CarFax and few receipts I have. The IMSB and clutch and air pump were swapped in 2014 in TX at a big indy shop, RAC. Owner's last name at the time was Reed, with a sporty sounding first name. ;)

Anybody down further south know or have an idea? No idea what the car looked like at that time. It came to me trying to look like a 996 GT3RS

After two months of vacation driving from Dana Point, CA to Hampton Beach, NH AND BACK... I put 7500 miles on the ole 2000 996 C4 Tip without, let me repeat WITHOUT any issues. I think she deserves a wash and wax, and an oil change, heck maybe even a new dash cover! LOL (Yes did an oil change at 5,000 miles in the drive away of family)

Brian :)

You have put more miles on your car in 2 months than most owners do in multiple years!

Kudos to you good sir! 8-)
