Thanks man! I knew you would do me solid! Your turbo is a perfect 996 Outpost travel vehicle. You should be in St.L in 1.5 to 2 hours in your ride.kcattorney wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 1:27 pm Oh, that's too bad, Kalash, because I would have totally driven the 4 hours over to St. Louis to go look at that Mitsu for you.

Re: Potential New Car Purchases
May be heading out to check this car this weekend. One owner, sold in AZ, lived in AZ. I believe that the original dealer that first sold it, is selling it right now. I asked about the accident...that took place before the car was sold, got BS response. Timing belt wasn't done either. So that's $1k+ of negotiating leverage right there.
Any red flags you guys are seeing? Feedback or suggestions are appreciated. On initial pictures and Carfax review, this car passes the smell test. 1 owner and AZ only use are a huge plus. Mileage in this case is actually a positive in my view, as it seems that the car was mostly a commuter from Mesa to Phoenix. It has the Sun+Sound and leather package...missing the big spoiler. No mods from what I can see.

Only red flag I see is the auto transmission unless I misunderstand your plan for the car?
Oh if you want me to check out Vegas area Mitsubishi's I am happy to go set fire to them for you.

Re: Potential New Car Purchases
After doing more research I learned that for 2012 cars Mitsubishi dropped the manual for the GT models. So with 2012 cars I have to settle for the 5AT.

^ This guy.
Why settle at all? Constrain your search to 2011 and older?

Re: Potential New Car Purchases
Has to be 2011 or 2012 car. They lowered the cars 1/2 inch, had black roofs as a nod to g1 cars for 2011 and 2012. 2011 manual GT premium car with sun and sound package is a unicorn. So settling may be necessary.
