Just jumping in here to say that Renn Meister is a confirmed expert
Actually, Renn Meister believes that "Experts" have stopped learning new things :-)

That said, moving forward my goal is to increase awareness of the early onset symptoms, so more people can have local shops provide some intervention to try and stop, or at least slow down these instances. Once you have the symptoms that Billy has, things have gotten critical already.

A 6 part video series on this topic is being produced this week. A step by step procedure of performing a bore scope test with a 32.00 bore scope (from Amazon) for a smart phone interface is part of this. It doesn't cost hundreds of bucks for a shop to do this, all you need is the bore scope, a 5mm allen wrench, a spark plug socket, a 24mm wrench, and a 10mm socket, and ratchet do this job.
