No, I mean the feature where you have read posts 1-7 in a thread and then some jerks come along and make posts 8-12. When you click it takes you straight to post 8 instead of post 1 in the thread so you don't have to scroll or otherwise search for the newest post.

Can you make the site revert back to a real annoying format every time I log in? Then hide the link to switch to a better format somewhere it's really hard to find?

Sometimes when I click the little arrow next to the user's name in the Last Post column it seems to do what you are asking. Others it just goes to that last post even when there are others I haven't read yet.

After so long with the RL interface I just got used to scrolling back to find the first post I hadn't read though. That was my biggest gripe about them killing off the old RL app. It would do that, but neither the website nor GarbageTalk would do it :(

He has to wait until he starts getting paying members. It's not the same if he isn't pissing off paid users.

Actually http://lmgtfy.com/?q=phpbb+last+unread gets you https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtop ... &t=2178250.

I'm not going to do all the work for you though so you need to read it your damn self. I will say that it does seem to work though.

Hey, what's up with needing approval to post new threads in the "Toolbaggery" forum? Is that just a leftover from the default settings or is there a reason I have to wait for approval before a new thread shows up? Reason I'm asking is that I'm in the middle of posting a DIY for the ignition switch replacement. I decided to split the post into 2 parts because it was getting long, especially with pics. But, now that I've submitted the first post, it is invisible until it gets approved. Can we remove that approval requirement?
Also, in that same post, I included 3 pictures - they were very small file sizes (like 20 kb). When I tried to insert a 4th pic, it wouldn't let me. No error message, it just didn't react when I tried to add another pic.

I will remove the approval requirement for the group I created for you and the rest of the RL refugees so you can approve your own posts.

There's a phpBB extension that adds the "unread posts" functionality you're asking about. I'll install it tonight.

How about redirecting the site login to SSL?

Since the old Good Week thread went kaput on page 1196, how about renumbering the new and improved Good Week thread to start at 1196? Or... 11996 to avoid possible complaints from the 'other guys'.
