Good argument to buy one of those window breaking hammers with the razor device to cut seat belts that you put in the glove box for use in the event of an accident.FRUNKenstein wrote: ↑Thu Sep 19, 2019 9:29 am Maybe the saddest part about that sad story is that a 2007 Corvette was his dream car.

Your cinder block is a good point. My point was if the old boy had one of those inside the car he and the dog could have gotten themselves out and the upholstery would still be fresh as a daisy.5chn3ll wrote: ↑Tue Sep 24, 2019 5:04 pm Also a good argument to READ THE GODDMAN OWNER'S MANUAL:
"From inside the vehicle, use the door release handle located on the floor next to each seat."
There is a manual door release next to each door.
It really pissed me off when I saw this the first time - if you CHOOSE to operate a device you are not qualified to operate and it kills you, that's on you - but if you cook your own dog in the process, f**k you twice.
For future reference - because dumb people - EXTERNAL window override tools have been distributed across the country to help the C7-owning population escape certain death when trapped inside their own vehicles. If you need one, just look around. They look a lot like cinder blocks.
They're never gonna get that smell out of the upholstery.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Fri Sep 20, 2019 6:10 am
