So what's the point of yet another 996 site?

I know what you're thinking...it's the same thing _I_ was thinking when I was sitting here staring at my credit card. "Does the world REALLY need another 996 site?"
Well, no. It didn't, but I feel like it does now. As more and more car enthusiast sites get acquired by corporate entities with corporate interests, their tolerance for shenanigans and general tomfoolery falls off precipitously, and moderators get more and more heavy-handed. I get it - businesses are businesses, and I wouldn't want a bunch of smart-asses sitting outside of my virtual storefront smoking unlicensed Indian cigarettes and hooting at the ladies. However, the sanitization of car forums makes them a much less fun and interactive place.
So, that's the dream for this pathetic hunk of internet real estate: we can hang out, have fun, and talk about the 996...one of the best sports car values around.
Thanks for checking things out.
