Why would that delay the trip? Well, he had a company car when they shut the office down back in March. It was sitting outside his townhouse (about 1 mile due north of the Capitol in DC). Saturday night, it got the crap shot out of it. So, I think he's glad that wasn't his car. Plus, that gives him another 3 months to save up and not have to pay for car insurance. It's not hip and happening for new ex-kids, but the burbs have the advantage of not seeing that stuff (yet?).
