Hi All,
I currently have the stock wheels (18" 993 Turbo Tech Hollow Spoke) on my 99 Carrera, and I am interested in getting a wider set of 18"s. I don't know if they are even available. Did the 996 C4S or Turbo have wider wheels? If so, what are the widths? Thanks in advance.
Wider wheels?

Re: Wider wheels?
My 05 996 C4S has stock 11" x 18" with a offset of 45 wheels on rear. Fronts are 8'"x 18 offset of 50. I believe the turbos had the same size. With the 295/30 tires mounted on the rear it is an impressive look.noahsdad wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 11:57 am Hi All,

But keep in mind that the Turbo and C4s also have wider rear fenders than the standard narrow body cars.32wildbilly wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 12:13 pmMy 05 996 C4S has stock 11" x 18" with a offset of 45 wheels on rear. I want to say 10 or 10.5" is the widest factory rear width for the narrow body cars, but I'm not 100% positive about that statement.

Re: Wider wheels?
I just put these on my 996tt this spring and really like them:

8.5" on the fronts and 11" on the rears. $232 per wheel on the front and $303 per wheel on the rears, so very reasonably price.
My second choice was these BBS wheels in 8" front ($300 each) and 10" rear ($355 each):

Re: Wider wheels?
Are your fenders rolled? If so, 11” will work fine with 295s, as mentioned in numerous threads. OZ HLT are nice, with literal good track record, currently priced at about $1800 for the set in NB offsets. Apex SM—10s are also popular and worth investigating. I personally love the looks of both the OZ and Apex wheels on a 996.noahsdad wrote: ↑Tue Jul 28, 2020 11:57 am Hi All,

For the 993 Hollows, they weigh 19.5/24# (f/r), so some new wheels like the forementioned will save some rotating mass, but the larger rear tire will cancel almost all the mass saved. The hollow spoke fronts, 993.362.136.00 (ET 52 and 19.5#) and rears 993.362.140.01 (ET 65 and 24#) have metal valve stems and smooth backs of the spokes. Those wheels will command a nice premium if you decide to sell them.
