Yes, it's here....
If things go right I'll use it for my track car. If things don't I'll sell it.
'01 black/black 6TT, 180k miles, coolant pipes pinned, TIPTRONIC, PS9 struts GT2 wing, has some issues: needs front driveshafts rebuilt (ongoing), motor mounts, spoiler electrical issues, alarm and interior light trouble, power mirrors don't work, could use a suspension refresh, some cosmetic things. Not thrilled about the tip, but we'll make it work. Otherwise a 6-speed swap is only $12k away. It is the first automatic car I've bought in my 35 year driving career.

The blue one with silver wheels is my nice 6TT: 39k miles, coolant pipes welded, every hose and oring in the engine bay refreshed last year, GT2 clutch conversion, GT2RS intercoolers, it's too nice to drive even.

If lap times are important, the tip might prove faster on the track. I'm enjoying re-learning the art of the manual trans, but if you watch Porsche rally videos, the auto trans are simply more efficient.

Is anyone interested in a repair log for this car? I have done a bunch of work and I actually remembered to take pictures of the work in progress this time. If you've ever wanted to rebuild your front axles I have the pics.

Nope. No one here is interested in technical information about their cars. Nothing to see here. Move along. Move along.

Yes of course. Post on a new thread in this section "DIY repairs, hacks, and other greasy activities"

Here’s a link to the sub forum where you can start a maintenance log for your car:
