Re: New owner reached out after trading my old car in

Unknown. I bought the car from Lusti Motors what, 6 years back? I'd like to find the person that did all of the upgrades - the aero kit, coilovers, plenum, wheels, tires - and thank them for being WAY more spendy than I would have ever been.

That must have been an EPIC cutting pad. What was it, a waffle pattern on a solid aluminum block?

That's awesome. I wish I'd been able to track down my 996's past owner - I would buy that man/woman a beer for the IDP plenum alone.

Re: Sport Seats

Dem's Latin, probably vulgar. I've never seen the word used in the context as implemented by Herr Drifter - the only place I remember seeing it written out is the hardware store... https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/44/Brass_escutcheon_plate.png/220px-Brass_escutcheon_plate.png Y...

Re: Sport Seats

But how can we ignore the best definition of all? "(In medicine) the shieldlike distribution of pubic hair on the pubic mound" Did you successfully remove your seat muff? If not, this DIY explains the process (note that the author uses the term "control panel" - what a troglodyte!): https://www.6spe...

I'ma contravene your list modification and suggest that those girls are definitely part of group #3. There are three kinds of people when it comes to electric fences: Oh I've got electric fence stories! First I'll add a 4th group to your list. Poor unsuspecting girls I had an interest in. I have odd...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

Thanks for the detailed reply. Mild steel is what I've been working with, and it's brutal on blades and grinding wheels, not to mention the mess. Aluminum would be nice as well, but it's easy to cut, even with a hacksaw... I'll probably borrow a bigger oxy/acetylene setup from someone for a week or ...

Re: Ebike Conversion - My K2 Attack 2.0 w/ 48v 1000 watt front hub motor and 4x sealed lead-acid batteries

Heh. Electricity is always good for a laugh when it's the other guy. None of my "city slicker" buddies in high school grew up around agriculture/farming. One of my high school friends got married a couple of years after graduation; 5 or 6 of my old friends and I wound up in shitkick, Tennessee for t...
