Re: Civic Type R

I don't miss owning a 300HP front-wheel-drive car. If they've tamed the wrist-snapping torque steer, it probably means they've also tamed the fun. If I was a Honda fan, I'd probably be all over that. The S2000 remains the only Honda I've ever considered buying... Have you ever driven an NSX or an I...

Re: HOOVIE is at is again.... More on the LS Swap

Hey guys, Y’all see that Hoovie blew up his LS motor on the track? Talk about repeating history! Ugh, this guy is so failure prone that I think he really enjoys it. LS Engines are notorious for oil starvation under high G cornering, the only two ways around it are to install a baffled oil pan or ov...

Re: Shit, I think my car was totalled today

Where is the world where a wrecked 996 goes for $25,000+? I want to live in that world. Unfortunately the one your in, isn't always an honest one. I never said they'd flip it and tell you it was in a minor accident, and if the car has less than 100,000 miles on it there's a good chance some asshole...

Re: Shit, I think my car was totalled today

Still, I just don't see that amount of money in damage there.......$7,000-$9,000 MAYBE...if it were a Turbo I could definitely see closer to $15,000 but $20,000?............ Come on man......it feels like somebody at the shop is trying to position themselves to make money buy buying it off the insur...

And Cuda, very sorry to see this. Your car is beautiful - very nice condition and the blue really pops in the sun.
Looks like I won the guessing game!
