you are dealing with a little dissimilar metal corrosion.. the bushing is steel, the alternator ear is aluminum. soak it good with PB Blaster, Kroil.. or your choice of penetrant, and hit it directly. I replaced mine when I installed the new alternator, it was a brass hose barb and I didn't like the tacked on look..zip ties to hold it back..etc. I bought a new fitting from RockAuto and it is the same as the OEM but aluminum, powdercoated black to look stock. no diffe...
