Re: Exhaust Sound Dilemma
I have the stock headers. Not sure when PO installed them, but he put on GMS Hi Flow Catted Headers along with the bypass and valved (remote control) mufflers. Assume it was installed post build. Car passed NJ inspection and there have been zero CEL or other codes. The car performs at a level I stil...

Exhaust Sound Dilemma
I absolutely love the sound my 03 4S factory sports exhaust puts out and have posted elsewhere about how glorious it sounds. After racking up over 33k miles in 2 years I recently stopped driving it regularly while I put break-in miles on a 997.2 4S FSI Stage II 4.0. The 997's PO put on aftermarket h...

4s winter rims
Bit the bullet and bought hard to find 10x18 47et winter rims for my 03 4s. Found one used OEM, paid to have it refurbished and bought a new after market “made in italy” as shown below:

Re: 997.2 19" rims on 996.2
Thanks. If you’re willing to run spacers that thick i guess I shouldn’t worry about 6mm spacers all around. BTW i found one unicorn 10x18 et47 rim for sale today, $400. Offered $250 but no deal. Might pay full retail for 2nd unicorn if i got the other cheap.

997.2 19" rims on 996.2
Plan on putting new winter tires on an extra set of 19" rims and then running them on my 2003 4s. Question: The 19" rims have more offset (+7 in front/+6 in rear) than stock 996 18" rims so the rims will move almost 1/4 inch inward. Will this cause rubbing? Are spacers the answer? Tha...
