Re: From Bore Scoring to Health Courtesy Flat6 Innovations

What amazes me is why someone denies obvious and says it's all hype (i.e. DreamCarrera on RL ). They fail to realize that this is the first documented mode of failure with the M96 engines. You add the piston offset issue and forged pistons, and you have a recipe for disaster. All this has been clea...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

The Titanic is a touch more nimble through the slalom due to bow thrusters that the Cayennamera simply doesn't have.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

UPDATE! Decided to give the AC Pro a chance as calls to various shops gave me estimated appointment dates of sometime after the apocalypse and it's 90s this week. Worst part was accessing the low pressure access port on an acadia which is located where no fully grown adult man's hand can reach. My ...

Very cool trip post - thanks for taking the time to post all of that! Those are some awesome pics. Looks like it was a bucket-list type of trip.

Re: Coolant leak: time for some maintenance...

Hey...now! Don't pick on Honda Civics! The Toyota Camry is supposed to be the car of derision. Take it easy - I was just referring to the base model Civic. Not the high end Civic XR4Ti model like yours. This just in - found a rare video clip of Billy, DTM and gnat loading Billy's Civic up to head o...

Re: Bill's engine is in pieces!

Of all the forums that he's apart of, he chose to mention 996Outpost. awesome! Also, RANKED IN THE TOP 20 ALL TIME IN BORE SCORING! CO...

Re: Coolant leak: time for some maintenance...

Update on the water pump - the pump was gone when I got to the shop for the coolant top up. But all seems good now, so will keep driving and fixing other stuff. Next project is to get my convertible top back in alignment. Ugh... Daryll There will always be something else that needs to be done. It's...

Contact Cuda. He'd get the insurance company to pay you enough to buy a new Taycan, plus let you buy the wrecked carcass back for like a dollar fifty. BTW, at $274.95 including shipping, 955 halogen headlight units are slightly cheaper: https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-Porsche-Cayenne-2003-2006-Driver-L...

Re: Awesome vintage rotary engine

Yeah, you're right. When I think "rotary", the Wankel comes to mind, which is (obviously) completely different than this type of rotary.
