Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

So the AC in the Acadia isn't cold. The internet tells me the AutoZone recharge things are bad but that seems weird. Are they bad? This has been random internet car talk. UPDATE! Decided to give the AC Pro a chance as calls to various shops gave me estimated appointment dates of sometime after the ...

Re: From Bore Scoring to Health Courtesy Flat6 Innovations

This is better than watching an autopsy on CSI 😁 Agree...when it's not part of you! It is interesting to me that even though complex in design it is really a simple engine to disassemble. Now assembly...not so much. What amazes me is why someone denies obvious and says it's all hype (i.e. Dr...

Re: Bill's engine is in pieces!

Also, RANKED IN THE TOP 20 ALL TIME IN BORE SCORING! CONGRATS BILLY!! Thank ya...Thank ya very much! I worked very hard to get it just where I wanted it to be. Lot of misuse and poor maintenance helped, but it was still just a lot of hard work and poor planning. I am proud to be in the top 20 for s...

Re: Rattle from front somewhere.

Hi. Ok here we have my 2001 996 Carrera 3.4 Auto. Absolutely standard in every way. Full service history by Porsche or respected Porsche specialist. 69350 miles. Never failed an MOT (UK test). However there is a very annoying rattle from the front end when going over small bumps in the road or cats...

Damn those HID headlights!
Yea, that just like most. The HID option basically adds a Xenon light/ballast and they punish you big time for the brighter light. Halogen with a projector lens is pretty darn good.

She's being disassembled... block shipped to LN Engineering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cnh3MOGn5-M Please note that Jake uttered the words "996Outpost". Your Welcome, however, there might be an "insider" there as well...I'm not sure...? Yea, I'm glad he did that. Of all the forums that he's a...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Yep. And this is my superb upgraded shit box that I am driving here. So far, having a car was a massive mistake. Took me three hours to get from Naples to my hotel, 60km total. Average speed of 12 mph. For people with claustrophobia, I spent close to 45 minutes in standstill traffic in a tunnel. Ed...

Wow, that's a bad leak there. Water pump? I would think a hose ruptured with that amount of spill. Keep us updated.
