Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

FIXED!!!! Yay!!! Victory! 🙌🏽IMG_5119.jpeg IMG_5121.jpeg Yep! The original motor was just free-wheeling. Install wasn't terribly hard. Basically, take out the center light/IR panel. Then unbolt the motor. Slide gently to the right, unplug and then pull it out of the head liner. IMG_5117.jpg After th...

Surprisingly, this one has PSM. First '99 I've seen with it. Still has the original factory M96/02 engine. All passes on my D...

Here's a better write-up I found on Rennlist - but if your motor's running and the sunroof isn't moving, your problem is even worse than mine. :D here ya go................ Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Try holding the "close" button on the sunroof controls for 2-3 seconds, then push and hold the "open" button. One of the microswitches in mine is cooked, so the sunroof doesn't cycle automatically, but the "press close for a few seconds" trick allows me to open it manu...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Bad news today. Car is going back to its owner.🤦‍♂️gutted to say the least. 😩 What caused the rejection? Electrical issues... lots of them. PSA, never under any circumstances leave a Porsche 996 or any Porsche outside in the weather for 2 years. The rodents will love it and moisture and micro organ...
