Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
Screw you, snowflake. I searched Google for "Jake Raby is a snowflake" and found an entertaining 914 thread from 2012. Why is it that these people always want to threaten Jake with physical violence? And always for cases where they are clearly wrong on basic facts of their compl...

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
It doesn't take a lot to connect all the dots, and figure out that there's more to this than just selling a car, when it comes to his behavior in these threads. If you go back and look at his prior posts on RL, he never showed that type of behavior. if you go back and look at the exchanges he had wit...

Took longer than I thought it would..
I am sure he will pop up again somewhere else, with the same initiative. If he would just admit his mistakes, and answer for them, none of this would happen. None of us are perfect, but how you deal with the imperfection is what matters.

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
What did you buy from Jake Raby? I searched the records at Flat 6, and found nothing with Deezy's name on it. Yes, I know his full name, and I searched for anything that is even close to a resemblance. Nothing turned up. Since 2009, all we have only sold engines.... He hasn't bought an engine from ...

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
Again, Deezy is making this all about me, and how he is being targeted. No mention of any sort of acceptance of fault for any of the things that have been brought up. Now, challenging my integrity by alluding that the engine I posted the pictures of wasn't bore scored... Really? Why do you think I h...

Re: New Jake video series Focus on: IMS Bearing failure
The guy with the 29k failure was as predictable as day and night. More risk than if he had 200k on his bearing. I think if you watch any of Jake's videos, you would know that this particular bearing was going to fail...and soon. Low mileage combined with oil contamination from just sitting, began e...

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
I'm with you on the "Shoulda got an inspection" part for sure. Heck I just sold my 93 300ZX with 103k miles on it last year and I told the guy who ended up buying it that I don't have a problem with him getting a PPI on it first. He declined. Going forward I will make people do the follow...

Re: Guards Red didn't save this buyer on the way in his 996
As I had stated, the point I have made has been the necessity for buyer's to perform higher levels of inspections that what they have currently been performing. If you go back and read your own posts about selling vehicles on BaT (posted on RL) you said that basically no one made any inspections, an...
