I have been a bit preoccupied lately doing DE's and work. I'm starting to feel I'm really beating my car up. Sooooooooo I stumbled on this. It arrives on Saturday! 1964 Spitfire race car with a history of racing for the past 25 years. This should be fun to bring to the track and possible vintage eve...

Drove my little clown car to a DE last weekend. The car on the right is a Boxster. The Spitfire garnered quite a bit of attention.

Thanks everyone for the replies and suggestions. I went the cheater bar route with a (measured) extension and with my body weight on the end. I think my calculations got me close enough to the desired torque. I’ll recheck it after driving around some just to make sure everything’s snug, but I feel ...
