Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
I got a nice 15 quart low-profile oil drain pan off of Amazon. It has wheels and a screen and everything. To catch the spatter & deflections? A $15 hot water heater pan from Lowes. 8-) (I was pretty proud of coming up with that last one, gotta admit.) Whoa ... this is way ritzier than my setup....

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
OK, calm the @#$%&*! down already ... I figured I'd put that out there and wait for someone to point out that these are actual threads from the past month of RL. Never mind. Nothing personal. We have had that problem in the past and happening so close to the schism it was casting this as some a...

True. I propose that we enhance Rennlist by collectively initiating and contributing to a rotating schedule along the lines of the following: Week 1: What's the best <select a fluid or other relatively prosaic consumable> for my 996? Week 2: How often should I replace my <select a somewhat obscure ...

Re: Who can school me on polishing/paint correction?
It doesn’t look AMAZING, but it definitely looks better. And I didn’t burn any holes in the finish. Which is nice. Good result! Dark colors -- especially black -- are tough. FYI, Amazon is my preferred source of mediocre-quality, semi-disposable microfiber towels. Three dozen for 15 bucks shipped (...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
My answer to any trolling of RL or other sites is NO. Let's take the higher road here. It takes very little to destroy the reputation of the community, and I am sure Dallas doesn't want to have 996O to be synonymous with troll farm. Yeah, I agree ... But I was really hoping someone would notice tha...

I would suggest that we don't go too off topic in RL. Their moderators already have most of us on their shit list. True. If you could post up some pics and whatnot when you do the fuel lines, I'd greatly appreciate it. Fuel lines are on my list for Der HooptieWagen, though they're fairly far down after a buttload of other stuff that'll need to be addressed before there's any risk of ignition, much less fire.

Pedant President is pedant. Also, Jesus! Enough news coverage of the royal wedding. Zero fucks given! Coulda been worse ... at least they got married in the middle of the night (yeah, I know ... there’s a justice of-the-peace joke in there somewhere, or maybe an Elvis-wedding-chapel kind of deal).
