First track day with the 996. Didn't push hard but had lots of fun. Bliss.

Re: Why is the ignition on the left?
Good video. Lots of interesting cutaway shots.... great job! Oh, and beautiful car! Thank you. :) Why does everyone have a remove before flight tag on their key these days? How are you you supposed to turn on your car if you have to remove it? It became a bit of a tradition for me that started with...

i also love the no rear bumperettes on the euro cars... Did a bumperette delete on the turbo. Haven't paint matched it yet, but still like it better than stock. Did it for cosmetics, not weight savings, but those suckers are 3.5 pounds! http://996outpost.com/download/file.php?mode=view&id=497 L...

Hey glad you made it over! I see a kindred spirit in Burak as he loves to tell his ownership stories - only he elevates his storytelling through video. This board is brand new but was set up with the purpose of...ahem..."celebrating different voices." You may catch some snark over h...

Re: The Black Sheep, 996 Revelations - 1998 Porsche 911
Hello everyone, I am new and discovered the site thanks to the site member Dr_Strangelove (whew!). I have a 1998, bone stock, manual, no sunroof Carrera that I love to the bits. I had tried to do my best to clear some of the clouds over 996 with my video that you can check out below. Hope you'll en...
