Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

The temperatures here have been in the 40's for the last few weeks. There's no ice at all on any of the lakes. Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

That's a serious question to the San Diego-ites here, how is the area coping with the rain?

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

I managed to convince my machinist to get his medical issues attended to and he's now back, looking much better than any 71 year old chain smoker should. My bookkeeping lady on the other hand is in hospital with a seriously infected foot. Surgery to drain out the infections was successful, she is st...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

The W12 is two VR6's mashed together. The problems with the VW Phaeton and other derivatives is they did not share much electrical gear with other VW's, so when the electronics break replacements are impossible to find. For example, the fuel pump controller is located underneath the spare tire in a ...

Re: Anyone got a clamp Ammeter and non-wonky 996.1 handy?

The only really important reading is after 20 minutes with the car locked. To test this you'll need to close the frunk latch with the frunk open, just push the latch down with a screwdriver until it clicks. If the frunk isn't closed (the latch isn't closed to be specific) the car will not completely...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Yeah, get well everyone.... I knew that my extra extended stay in Florida due to airline meltdowns wasn't that big of a deal, and now I am sure of it.
