Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

That line is a coolant return line from AOS if I remember it right. It is tiny in diameter to start with. I doubt it has any effect on cooling whatsoever. You are correct, it is a return line from the AOS. The inside diameter of the plastic fitting is smaller than the inside diameter of the hoses. ...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Looks like a perfect day for an AC cruise. I need to get mine out on the road again...speedy rear.jpg At the moment, I have an air cooled 996. As of tomorrow (new radiator install), that will no longer be the case. Interesting side note: I ran into a friend at Cars & Coffee yesterday, who told ...

Re: Craigslist, ebay, Amazon and other online finds

$5800??? Wow, I think you got the deal of the century on a boxster! Congrats!!! I second that. That's change you find in your couch cushions kind of money. Or, the-kind-of-money-Mrs-KoB-wants-to-spend-on-a-new-couch kind of money. But I agree, that’s a great deal on a really good-looking Boxste.

That was a parking lot? I thought it was Cuda’s driveway until I realized there weren’t any 914s.

Re: I Would Like To Buy Another Car, but . . .

I know that when I retire, I'll have time to muck around with a car collection. LOL ... YMMV, but somehow all that extra time never exactly materialized for me. Might’ve worked out differently if I hadn’t told Mrs. KoB that I was going to retire. You might be able to make it work for a few years if...

Re: RL Thread on Fuel Wash and Injectors

KoB is correct, however, the car is already on 3.6 Nickies so if there's bore scoring then the information I received in his class needs to be revised.
