@DeckMan —

Discouraging (if unsurprising), but thanks for the heads up on ECS (and Pelican). Also, good on you for doing what you could to protect your people. Too many executives never learn that loyalty has to run both ways.

Re: RL Thread on Fuel Wash and Injectors

I'm still trying to find this link mentioned... :?: Go to the first post in this thread & follow the link to RL. The OP of that thread is (I’m assuming) the guy who sold the car to Doc Strangelove. Car looks to be in pretty nice shape ... I imagine it’ll need engine tear down to determine just ...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

Somewhere in Ingolstadt, engineers Dieter and Gunther are cackling wildly: “Ja, ve really f*cked over that KC guy! Who’s next?”

Martina Navratilova decides to defect. She walks into the US Embassy in Prague and says, “excuse me, do you cache Czechs here?”

Ba-dump-bump.

I'm just better with four wheels under me!
Most of us are. I’ve been hit by a car while on a bicycle. And hit by a truck while on a Harley. Both times, it really hurt.

Re: New Hoops

I bought me a Mongoose last year..... The bike shop kind, not wally world one. Tyax Pro from 2016, lime green for $600 new, about 50% off retail. Compared to big box store bikes it is amazing. 20 speed Deore gear hardware, hydraulic brakes, Kendra tires, properly sized frame.... I was in awe when I...

Re: New Hoops

I bet I could taco that rim in 30 seconds... Those of you who know bike stuff will immediately recognize that they’re worth more than the rest of the bike combined. Since I work near two Kaiser facilities, I often see packs of Kaiser bikers. It cracks me up when I see a guy built like me riding a b...

Sitting across the street yesterday drinking a beer watching the world cup I noticed a leg peeking from behind my car.. a well dressed middle aged man stands up looking to be checking out my tires or something, maybe planting a tracking device who knows. He was intensely looking around the car for ...

Re: What did you do to/with your 996 today?

LN 2 qt kit. Applying the sealant to the windage tray is a little bit of guess work. Recommend test fit to gauge how close to the edge sealant should be applied. Hopefully I got it sealed up. When I did mine (1/2 qt), I got a batch of M6 bolts, nuts, and washers. I bought a new used pan (was like $...
