Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

As of this morning, I am officially Porscheless. Black beauty went to a new owner. Hope he enjoys it as much I have for the last 2 years. Now, once I get my family situated, my hunt for another one will begin... or, will it be something else? mwahahahahaha!!!!  Wow! You go through Po...

Re: 951 Out of Body Shop After Spa Treatment

I know I'm jinxing myself, but I've had 7 Porsches in total, and they all were/are very reliable cars. In fact, it's hard to believe they come from the same company that pumps out Audis. As much grief as the 996 gets, it was on the back of 12 years of little more than oil changes, tires, and...

Don't forget the 991 GT3RS (or was it the plain GT3?) when it first came out. They made all the owners stop driving them until they fixed it.

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com

I know it's a fake wing, but it's a pretty good one and still makes the car look so much better. Why go back to the boring non-wing look? Unless your goal is to later install the much superior Taco wing. In that case I understand and firmly approve! Oh I never addressed this. I'm pretty sure ...

Re: Taycan has Torch Boy issues too

So why is it we hear about EVs bursting into flames like this, but not hybrids? It's not as big, but hybrids still have an insane amount of potential energy stored in their batteries. Is there something inherently different about the pure EV design that makes shorting batteries more likely? Or is i...

Honestly I have no idea how you are doing it. I've actually tried to dupe post and can't figure out how it gets done from time to time...
