Re: NOCO jumper pack question
Try the jump pack via the fuse box doodad like the good Dr. suggests. I heard somewhere (reliable source or not I don't remember, so use at your own risk) that one may need a proper battery rather than a jump pack to get the fuse box doodad to function property. I can't fathom why that would be so, ...

Re: On Becoming a Macan "Expert"
The condition report missing all those easy to see defects seems a little scammy to me. Actually a lot scammy! Their generous (bullshit) offer to pay shipping doesn't even come close to covering your costs much less your labor. 4/32" of tread depth difference is really easy to see with a tread...

Re: AutoX
Actually since we have very few longhorn cattle up here we are required to carry 10 bushels of rice (heh) or wheat (as some here think...) Well darn. The plates are Nebraska, as was the news station who posted the video. And I thought soybeans, rather than rice (heh) or wheat, were preferred if cat...

Re: AutoX
I've herd from *reliable* sources that Nebraska AX will no longer utilize run groups, but instead will adopt thie following "Balance of Performance" method.

Re: AutoX
Make sure your AX participants have all the proper safety equipment as displayed in your educational video: flame-retardant short-sleeved tee-shirt, mountain biking body armor, and loose in-car fire extinguisher. This was obviously a meticulously-planned video undertaken by trained and licensed prof...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
We got about 7 inches of rain up here, but it was steady, and there was no significant wind. The snow plows are cruising around getting gravel, rocks, and mud off of some roads, but otherwise it was pretty much a non-event in Big Bear. Good to hear. We have friends and relatives scattered around So...

Re: Good Week @ 996Outpost.com
Currently at a mile above sea level with a 3kw inverter I can clamp to the jump lugs on the Jeep, a freezer and a fridge worth of food, canned food, dried survival food, a .357 magnum with a pail of ammo, and a 3-foot raised concrete foundation. Also several cubic yards of gravel we can use to fill...
