Say hello to my 1978 VW Safari (aka Thing). What is that Thing??? They come up fairly regularly on BAT and It's twin is up for auction right now, in San Diego, about 45 minutes left and at $11.5K and climbing. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1973-volkswagen-thing-5/ https://13252-presscdn-0...

Re: Would You Do a Color Change?
Under what circumstances would you consider a color change? I personally think a color change on a car like a 996 Turbo only makes sense if: There is a color you just must have... It would be virtually impossible to find/buy a car in that color... The cost of a really good paint job is a non-issue....

Re: Official "Personalized Plates" Thread
https://996outpost.com/download/file.php?id=504 I noticed your plate earlier on another thread... Figured it was a photo reference before I saw the 8x10, wallet, etc. Young-uns who grew up on digital probably look at it and think 'man, that guy's got a really small turbo charger on his Porsche"...

i also love the no rear bumperettes on the euro cars...
Did a bumperette delete on the turbo. Haven't paint matched it yet, but still like it better than stock.
Did it for cosmetics, not weight savings, but those suckers are 3.5 pounds!

Re: Early 911 photos
Why does it bother me far more that I sold my gorgeous SC well before its prime then not buying twice as much TSLA at$30?

Re: Oil Level Indicator on the Dash is reading LOW after Oil change
^^^ ...as mentioned above, overfilling is potentially more damaging than underfilling... I'm not saying let your oil go dry, but as long as you have *any* bars above the min line, you are pretty much good to go.
